Here is a mastery path calculator for all you theory crafters. Take it with a grain of salt as WARDB receives its info from beta characters and level scales are not normalized.

I think it's prolly the worst of the 3 trees to be completely honest. The core abilites associtaed with vaul aren't all that great and you dont get most of the most later on in levels. The tactics unlocks are shitty. I cant see you using them over core ones. The healing debuff ability is sweet, i'll give you that. The toughness debuff and the snare are kinda meh. Toughness is a good stat but unless its a huge debuff it aint worth it imo. The snare is a form of cc but there are better. And all rank 4 morales are not worth it.
For a damaging spec the path of Asuryan is the one you want. The core abilities will be your most used spells. Law of conductivity is your standard dot and searing touch is prolly your hardest hitting spell, especially early on. The firs tactic sux, since it applies to your 2 sec cast DD spell which is hardly used. The first ability is good, an IC DD is always nice. The second tactic is awesome. A passive purge and damage dealer? yes please. The spirit reducer ability is meh, but since most of your damage is spirit based think of it like a warlocks curse of elements from wow. The 3rd and final tactic seems decent, a straight % increase to you damaging spells. and the last abilitiy is a cc and damage dealer, what more could you want?

you say all the rank 4 morale abilities suck? if that's the case you can go all the way up minus the rank 4 morale spell in either the healing or damage tree and still get the "MS" spell.

i like your 2hander build fuman.
how bout this for sword and board?

The 11 points in Brotherhood allow you to get:
* Earthshatter (AOE slow + damage)
* Punishing Knock (Add knockdown to inspiring attack)
The 6 points in Stone allow you to get:
* Oathbound (A powerful ability that gives you fantastic longevity)
The 8 points in Vengence allow you to get:
* Powered Etchings (aoe knock back every 10 sec)

There is a couple things I dislike about that build. One is you took runic shield which at lvl 40 324 magic dmg is like 1 tick of a dot and really isn't worth 1 mastery point. The first tactic in veng really isn't worth a tactic slot since there is so many better ones. Also the first tactic in stone is not worth it for the same reason and cause shield of reprisal is situational.
Oathbound is pretty good but putting 5 pts in stone and losing out on cave in + more dmg from more pts in veng tree + more pts in brotherhood tree since really the core stone tree abilities are all situational or cost grudge to use so won't be spamming them alot to get full benefits from those pts in stone.
