havent had a chance to yet. My douchey RL friends keep flaking out on me, and now the guy that would be GMing for us is getting shipped out to sea for 6months.

My advice is to download all the books for free from isohunt or something and read the players handbook to get a basic understanding of the game. It's really a lot simpler than previous additions.

I think we have 3-5 players and Trizzel GMing.

my friend has a few of the books and like 2-3 copies of the player handbook. I was reading it while pooping the other day. Definitely gonna hit up isohunt for that shit tomorrow and brush up since the last time i sat down and played was during 2e

You should also check out http://forums.gleemax.com/forumdisplay.php?f=693 to get a decent understanding of how to optimize your character.

I'll be playing a Warlord. I'm not sure what Fuman and Cryoss will be playing.
