I just got another 220+MB patch and checked the settings and DX10 is now available. I'm not sure if this means Cheetah 2 will be implimented as well, but either way, this is good news.

interesting observation / bug / fucking annoying ass problem i've been experiencing, once i enter / log on to the game, i can see the UI (hotbars, menu, map, chat window) but the rest of the screen is black.
after an hour or so of trying to solve it, i changed the directX version, thus fixing the problem. and it wasn't the version that was the culprit because it would occur when each version was enabled upon startup. simply toggling between the version fixed the problem.
hope this helps anyone who experiences this problem.
