im having issues with vent?

i have logitech precision gaming headset/mic but i cant figure out how to talk to ppl. i hit the right crtl key to talk and they say all the hear is static. so what am i doing wrong? what do i need to do in set up? any help would be nice. also who can i send a /tell to ingame to get a guild invite?

make sure you have your input and output settings set for the logitech headset. and direct sound enabled in box. mine works fine

Does yours say logitech head set? or just headset? cuz i have the prongs plugged into the right plugs wholes and nothing. i have the output for headphones and input can either be.. front mic (sigma high def audio) or Front Mic (monitor) (sigma high def audio) or line in (which isnt working according to my set up thing) and defualt. which do you think i should go with? cuz i cant figure it out but i can hear ppl but cant talk. they hear static.

also i have an external hardware device i can enable which is logitech game panel LCD support (G15). do you have that enabled? its under global in the set up options for vent.

yeah i dont have the usb i need to get that head set. its the digital one right?
