When wearing light armor or chainmail, battleragers gain a +1 bonus to damage rolls with melee and close weapon attacks whenever they have temporary hit points. This bonus increases to +2 if they wield an axe, hammer, mace or pick.

Food for thought for John since he went with Plate Armor.
He can always take that hide specialization feat since his Con is crazy high and it would equal Plate Armor AC.

The Janurary Update changed the way temp hit points work with battleragers.

They hit a mob they get temp hit points equal to their Con mod
They hit a mob with an invigorating power they get double the normal temp hit points.

If they miss a mob they get zero temp hit points
If they miss a mob with an invigorating power they get temp hit points equal to their Con mod.

They no longer get temp hit points when they are hit by a mob.

Feat: Dwarf Stoneblood
Add half Con modifier to Battlerager Vigor temporary hp.
You gain +2 feat bonus to the number of temporary hit points you gain from using an Invigorating power. The bonus increases to 4 at 11th level and 6 at 21st level.

So the above character when hitting the mob with an attack gains 6 temp hit points
when hitting a mob with an Invigorating power they'd gain 14 temp hit points. (6+6+2)

These temp hit points do not stack, IE: you hit a mob with an invigorating power and gain 14 temp hit points then you get hit for 10 you now have 4 temp hit points then you hit the mob with an invigorating power and you're back up to 14 temp hit points not 18.

Hopefully this makes sense.
